Pleasantly surprised, after reading some of the reviews I was not expecting much. The room was clean and recently decorated, plenty of pillows and towels. Could do with a little bedside table as there was no table at all and nowhere to put some of our things. I wasn’t bothered about not having tea and coffee facilities as I didn’t stay in the room at all during the day, exploring all the Blackpool attractions and city centre which were in a very close proximity. The breakfast was good, nice fresh coffee and all the pastries, pancakes, bread, cheese etc fresh each morning. The room could benefit from having an air conditioner as it was pretty hot in the room and we couldn’t keep the window open at night as there was a lot of noice outside, mostly from seagulls.
Lovely young couple running it. Modern, spacious & clean room (rm.5 family room). Fresh bedding with plenty of pillows & towels & shower gel. Tea & coffee facilities. Big tv. PROPER wardrobe with hangers! Nice clean bathroom. Breakfast was amazing! Grandkids said was a 'party breakfast'.. best they'd had in Blackpool..and we've stayed in lots of b&bs! Cereals, toast, bagels, cakes, fruit, crumpets, Jams, yogurts, sausages, scrambled eggs, hash browns, beans..fresh juices and tea & coffee. Will DEFFO be back!
Absolutely fantastic. Staff were lovely and polite. Our room was spacious and clean. We were close to the beach and most of the attractions. We loved the continental breakfast each morning. Will definitely stay here again in the future.
So far so good, odette who checked us in is lovely... nothing is too much trouble for her, you get what you pay for and the rooms are beautiful.... you only get continental breakfast (your usuals) so if your not happy just go out for breakfast, like I said you get what you pay for but I'd deffo recommend and would love to come back here just for odette my kids think she's great and she is so lovely thankyou ideate for making it enjoyable
We loved our stay here a family if 4 , nice fresh very clean rooms ,lovely lady who runs hotel, easy to talk to and so polite, fresh towels and bedding that smell beautiful, really nice thick mattresses very very comfy, best night sleep ever in Blackpool, very good location just across from coral Island, kids aged 9 and 12 loved staying here , we had a single attack room and a family room both very good standard , views from attack room were superb full eye of blackpool Tower, lovely welcome when we 1st arrived all the way to when we went, will decently be going back here , we have stopped at loads and loads of hotels in blackpool and none of them compare to this hotel , Well done I must say
Could not complain one bit! Owner treats you more like a friend than a customer and is lovely and does everything but more to make you feel welcomed, hotel room was spotless with no dirt at all, fully working tv, kettle and drink necessities available shower gel, towels, extra blankets available etc, will definitely be staying there again

Excellent stay at the Iona, Sellina is a wonderful women, she treats you like family, she takes care of your ever need, the breakfast is so tasty , I cannot wait to stay there again.
